Generating Fresh INI Files. Run the game from Steam, GOG Galaxy, or through FalloutNVLauncher.exe in the game files if you are using an offline copy. I'm fairly new to the pc gaming marketplace. I've never had even half the amount of crashes with New Vegas on Steam than I did with Fallout 3, which was pretty much unplayable on PC for me. New Vegas works way easier for me than 3 does, and NV is my favorite RPG of all time with some of my favorite mods of all time. Absolutely go for it.
